Working with a template

Using a template will help you to do multiple identical changes of folder's appearance easier.

Creating a template:

Select a customized folder in the folder tree (Main window, pos.1) then click "Template" (Main window, pos.15) and select "Create a template..." (you also can use Ctrl+N hotkey). The "Create a template" dialog window will appear. Click the "OK" button (Create a Template window, pos.3) to create a template according the selected properties (Create a Template window, pos.1 and 2).

Applying the created template:

Select a folder, which appearance you want to change, in the folder tree (Main window, pos.1) then click "Template" (Main window, pos.15) and select "Apply the template" (you also can use Ctrl+A hotkey).

Removing the created template:

Click "Template" (Main window, pos.15) and select "Delete the template" (you also can use Ctrl+D hotkey). There will be a confirmation message box that appears as a way of ensuring that you want to delete the created template.

If you have checked the "Delete the template when exit the program" checkbox in the "Create a template" window, the template you have created will be automatically deleted when you close the Lovely Folders program.
