Set a check mark near a letter of a drive you want to lock and press the APPLY
button.
How it works? Locking CD/DVD drives in most cases blocks the button on
a CD/DVD drive and makes it unresponsive to clicking. A user cannot open a drive
to insert a disk. |

Block access to new plugged USB Flash devices - detects all
user attempts to plug USB Flash device (or similar) to a USB port (or into a card
reader) of the computer and lock this device immediately.
When this option is enabled, connecting the following devices to the computer
will be prohibited:
- USB Flash drives
- Memory Stick cards
- Secure Digital (SD) cards
- MultiMedia cards (MMC)
- xD-Picture cards
- SmartMedia cards
- CompactFlash cards
- Floppy disk drives
- Tape drives

attempts to plug a Hard Disk drive to a USB, IEEE 1394 (FireWire), SATA or SCSI
ports of the computer and lock this device immediately. This option locks stand-alone
hard disks as well as RAID. |
